Devnar Foundation today is what it is only because of the unstinted support and love of well-wishers. Reaching out can transform lives, can create magic! Over years, it has been possible to add colors to the darkness of the visually challenged children by making them capable of painting their own rainbows, their own way! It is not about charity, it is about an effort to make them self-sufficient enough so that they do not survive on the mercies of others. CSR funds can help us support their dreams. All donations to Devnar are tax exempted under section 80G of the IT Act.
Infrastructure
The school is being expanded and new Blocks are being added to accommodate more students. CSR contributions can support our infrastructural needs. Each classroom would cost Rs.6 lacs, staff quarters would cost Rs.3 lacs, while elevator installation can amount to Rs.15 lacs. The name of the contributing CSR partner would be duly acknowledged with a plaque outside the set-up.
Food Cost
Devnar Hostel provides free food to the inmates. Total meal cost, inclusive of breakfast, lunch, and dinner, for a day, comes to around Rs.29000 for vegetarian food and Rs.33000 for non-vegetarian food. Meal sponsorship for the children would assure healthy and hearty meals for them.
Child Sponsorship
Education at Devnar is imparted absolutely free of cost. Rs.15000/- annually for each child can ensure quality education. Your company may come forward to support as many students as possible.
Basic Needs
From the supply of braille papers to stationery and grocery needs, or purchase of technical equipment, CSR funds may be used to sponsor different basic needs of Devnar School and Hostel.
Program Sponsorship
From Chess Tournaments to Cultural and Sports events, to even medical camps, there are umpteen programs that need sponsorship for best arrangements. Companies can come forward to be program sponsors.
